Equity Exchange Services, Inc. (EESI) is a Qualified Intermediary under IRC Sec 1031. We provide intermediary services throughout the United States. Typically our referrals come from lawyers, accountants, realtors or closing agents, but taxpayers are encouraged to contact us directly with any questions or concerns. EESI is a member of the Federation of Exchange Accommodators and has been handling 1031 exchanges since 1990.

In 1990, Attorney David Bone determined that there was a need and desire in the growing Sarasota, Florida market for a 1031 Exchange Accommodator and so opened Equity Exchange Services, Inc. and has been expanding and providing services both locally and throughout the United States.

EESI works with federally insured banking establishments to ensure your funds are secure. Interest earned on these funds is forwarded to the taxpayer once exchange is complete at no additional cost.
